Where have the months gone !!!. Time definitely flies when you are having fun. One of our highlights was of course our Mother's Day High Tea. We would like to thank all our wonderful mother's. grandmothers and Aunties for attending. We had a delicious high tea with real coffee, real tea cups and a beautiful array of sweets and treats. Our children recited beautiful poems, delivered messages of love, pampered the mummies in our Beauty Parlour and the Photo booth was an absolute hit. We loved spoiling you and hope you were made to feel special.
On top of this we have had a huge couple of months with our extra curricular activities. Our Anzac Day Care package to the troops overseas was very successful. They loved the excursion to Coles to purchase items to post. They wrote letters and drew pictures and then we headed back out again on another excursion to the Post Office. Our Fire truck visit was also lots of fun and we continued to learn about the many ways people keep us safe in our community.
Our Backyard Bugs show kept the children mesmerised for over an hour as they got to not only touch and see real life bugs and insects but also engage in some drama where they pretended to be ants and spiders.
We continue to learn about how important it is to be a member of our community by commencing the "Little Hands, Kind Hands" program. A teacher from St Vincent de Pauls will be coming out each Wednesday to be working with our teachers to incorporate learning on how we can use our little hands for kindness and good things. We are very excited to be participating in this program and it is another opportunity to teach our children how to be kind people at home, at school and in our community.
Looking forwards to lots of learning over the Winter months.
